Waters Edge is Sick
A plague as ripped through the offices of Waters Edge. Our staff is small for the size of church we are (small in number not in height. I don't have any way to prove this but I think we are at least average in the height department). Out of the 10 staff members 6 were sick as of Thursday. Our fearless leader, Stu Hodges, has strep throat. Phil Poteat, our ninja worship leader, has been sick for three weeks. Pray for the Waters Edge Staff. If God doesn't heal some people...church will be interesting on Sunday.

Does that include you? Is your wife any better yet. I think she started it all.
ReplyDeleteDanielle, it does include me. I am feeling a lot better today. Wed/Thurs I thought it was over. What is it you ask...my life. Since Monica doesn't have strep I don't think she's to blame for all of it. She is feeling better though. She went to the Dr. again today and got some new meds.
ReplyDeleteI think your whole staff needs to go to a chiropractor. I know it sounds crazy, but my children and I go all the time and we never get sick. My 2 kids (almost 3 and almost 1) have never had ear infections, strep throat, or had to be on antibiotics . . . EVER. I know people think I'm crazy, but I think it's because I've taken them to the chiropractor since birth. Don't knock it before you try it. Spinal alignment is the key!
ReplyDeleteI am praying. Bub has been coughing his head off for three weeks straight! I heard from Sara this morning too, she has bronchitis! Sickies everywhere!
ReplyDeleteI am thinking of you folks.
ReplyDeleteRob - I hope your feeling better! I went to the doc today and low and behold it's bronchitis. I certainly am not trying to share that love with the office! I can't believe that Stu has strep!!! He's never sick, is he? I am praying extra hard for all of us!!!
ReplyDeleteI will be thinking of and praying for all of you. Dave and I were both sick for a few months and are finally over it but it's miserable. You are all in my prayers! Just wish I could be there on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteSar, I hear ya with the chiropractor. The only thing is Monica goes all the time to the chiro and she's been sick for a week now.
ReplyDeleteI definitely don't believe you're average in the height department. Stu's short and no one on staff compensates for that.
ReplyDeleteSorry in the height department, I'd be willing to bet you guys are below average.
I am currently not one of the sickies in the office...and I'm bound and determined to stay that way! Maybe I should wear one of those white masks...
