Square Pizza...I miss it

This week Monica and I ordered a pizza from Little Caesars. Their large pizza is only $5.50 which is a really good deal. The thing is their pizza was circle shaped. For years Little Caesars had a square pizza. I miss the square. It's probably just in my mind but I think their square pizza used to taste better then their round pizza does. What are you thoughts? Do you miss the square? Does it taste better? Does anyone know why they changed? Leave a comment.

  1. I'm with you - I miss some square Little Caesar's. I think the decision to go round was a cost-cutting measure, although I think Pizza Hut just came out with a new square pizza. I still don't think it will be as good as the old-school LC's, but if I try one I'll let you know.

  3. Yes, the square was awesome. Specifically the pieces without crust. It was unfair to have the inner pieces of pizza be that awesome and the outer pieces lacking (lacking the lack of crust). Pepperoni for life.

  4. I loved that pizza. Remember it was on the big piece of cardboard and it was covered in paper that you just ripped off the top to get into it! That was some yummy pizza! We would get it when I was a kid because it was 2 for the price of 1! Where is there a Little Caeser's?

  5. Bethany, there is a Little Caesars on Jefferson. It's the little shopping center across the street from Hooters. It has a McDonald's, Blockbuster, a mattress place, and a Little Caesars.

  6. Dave B is correct Pizza Hut does have a new gianormous square pizza. I for one do not miss the square and think that it was the right call to do away with it.

The public called for it. It simply wasn't fair. The largest, strongest humans in the family group got the better pieces without crust. Since there were only a couple of pieces this way, it simply wasn't fair and the majority of crusted people complained. Hence a circle and we all have crust.

  7. Dan, I liked the whole thing. And they gave you two pizzas in the bag. Plenty for any family. My family used to order Little Caesars every Wed. night and we never complained. Plus why be like everyone else? We already have enough circle pizzas. That is what set them apart.

  9. wow.... i forgot about the square pizzas. time for a little caesar's comeback.

but yes, Rob, I did see the new Punisher haha.... I guess I was less harsh on it since I saw it for so cheap, and because I didn't go into it expecting quality acting.. since the Punisher isn't a very complex character known for in-depth dialogue and character development. Just shoot some people, blow some stuff up, and you've basically succeeded. That being said... yes, it was still rather terrible... I just didn't leave with as bad a taste in my mouth as I did after Ghost Rider. Nic Cage's quirky strangeness just didn't fit that movie at all, and the scripted dialogue was horrid haha

  10. also, I blame Eva Mendes too. she's a terrible actress, whereas Nic Cage was just miscast in this movie.

  11. We just got a Little Caesar's here near where we live. I'm very excited (it hasn't opened yet), but I didn't realize they don't have square pizzas anymore. Bummer!
