Cool or Uncool?
Talking on the phone while using the bathroom. This was inspired by my recent bathroom stop at the restaurant Texas Roadhouse. When I walked in someone was in the stall dropping a deuce while talking on the phone.
Uncool. Being that I have a job that requires me to talk to a lot of people on the phone, I have been on the other end of the line way too often when someone is going to the bathroom. Just wrong on so many levels.
ReplyDeleteRob, such a lovely way of words you have, what with the potty description. Perhaps you should have a long talk with Brian and you can compare notes. Anyway, I am not a fan of talking to someone while in the bathroom. This is not something that I think is cool. That being said, if my phone rings while I am in there, I feel compelled to answer it if I am at home (never out in public).

ReplyDeleteMobile phone usage in public areas should be totally banned, made illegal, people exterminated - I hate having to listen to the inane conversations people generally have on their phones ... not that I ever have any inane conversations on my phone!!
Incredibly uncool and gross!!!!!!!!!! I hang up on people who even try to go to the bathroom when I am talking to them on the phone.

It is for sure uncool & I think illegal also to drop the kids at the pool while on your cell phone.

ReplyDeleteWhat??? has no one had to make a secret girlfriend call in the of middle diner, and decide to multi-task? OR talked for a while, not want to hang up and pressed mute? AND the bathroom is the only place a mom can go and lock the door for a few seconds (although those persistent children will be knocking and screaming on the other side) and decide to call the dad so he can share in the glamorous life of raising kids. Don't worry I only do this with my closest of friends!
