Cool or Uncool?
White guys wearing shorts, and flip flops to the store when it is freezing outside. I say white guys because that is the only race I see doing this.
uncool is putting it lightly.... cuz that's straight-up moronic. i see it all the time, too, here in VA when it's cold out... makes no sense

ReplyDeleteI will have to buck the trend and say Cool. When you are sitting around the house, wearing shorts, and you have to run to the store, it is just easier and quicker to just throw on shoes and go. Your only outside a total of maybe 20 seconds. To me, 20 seconds of cold is better then 4 minutes of putting on pants, shoes, and a coat and another 4 minutes taking it all off again when you get home.

ReplyDeleteso im moronic and craving attention because i enjoy cooler weather? toughen up people, your winters are mild. and yes i wore sandals and shorts all the time when i lived in hampton roads because ive spent winter in the far north, you dont realize how easy you have it...cool

ReplyDeleteUncool, anytime you wear clothes out of season it's uncool. I did it in college, I can admit that... and I get the point about it being easy and convenient... BUT it's the same as wearing sweatpants in public, it's kind of like you're giving up and saying, yeah I'm lazy and don't care what I look like so what.

I will toughen up and say my name. I am Joey, I only lived in VA for 3 years before college took me out west. I found your blog a while back through a family member, neither of us have ever been to your church, but enjoy your blog. I am not offended, just stating my laid back style makes me.... laid back, and not moronic or attention craving. I fully respect all of your opinions and wanted to relay mine.
