Ear Hair

I think this is a sign of oldness, but this week I discovered an ear hair. My first thought was to pluck it, but then I got nervous because what if it is like facial hair and once it is plucked it opens the doorway to a bunch of other ear hairs. Before I know it I will be that guy that has an ear goatee. What to do? Does anyone have an opinion that they would like to share?

    Wait until you have more hair in your ears than on your head (not that its thinning or anything).
