Volly Ball Champs

The camp we go to (Crossroads is a great camp) has a lot of activities for students to do during the day. One of the highlights for me is sports tournaments. Here are the list of tournaments and how Waters Edge Students did.

Tuesday
Soccer - two teams competed...both teams eliminated in the first round.
Ultimate Frisbee - at least three teams...two teams got demolished and one team didn't get to play because of a thunder storm that rolled in.


Wednesday
Dodge ball - bunch of teams competed and a bunch of teams lost in the first round.
Volley Ball - two teams competed...both teams made it to the championship. One team became volley ball champs. Guess which team I played on?


Thursday
Basket ball - one team competed and one team lost in the first round. We lost 10 to 8. I played on the b ball team and I have to say that we were the best team to lose in the first round. If there was a losers bracket I believe that we could have beat the other losers.


The moral of the story is that Waters Edge Students are good at volley ball and not very good at all other sports. The volley ball team I played on was the ferocious chinchillas and this is the second year in a row that we won the whole thing. Here is a pic of the winning team.
