Passion Part Two

Mark Batterson in his book In A Pit With A Lion On A Snowy Day writes, "Christ followers ought to be the most passionate people on the planet. To be like Jesus is to be consumed with passion". On a scale of one to ten...one being not very passionate and ten being passionate...how passionate are you for God? Leave a comment.

    I feel Batterson is very generic and cliche in this point.

    Take out the word passion and replace it with it's meaning... intensely emotional. Is that what we're really supposed to be as Christians... and what does that mean?

    I think compassionate would have been a more fitting word for what Christians really should be and I could have giving myself a higher score. BUT given the meaning I think of when I think of passion relating to God I'd say depending on the day a 2 - 4.

Leaving a good comment = God's blessing on your children's children.

Leaving a bad comment = a curse that will cause all of your children to be born bald and naked.
