Happy 4th Of July

If you are an American reading this, then Happy 4th of July. To the rest of the world: Happy Monday. One equals a day off from work, barbecues, and fire works. The other equals just another manic Monday. If I was in charge of a country I would celebrate the 4th of July. It's a great American holiday.

Pictured Above: Reese and Hayden on their first 4th of July. Side note: the tag on their outfits says Made In China. Typical.

So what are you doing for the 4th of July?

  3. Cute picture!
(I'm at the lake until Wednesday... the only reason I'm checking blogs is because I have some downtime -- everyone else is in the water, and it's my shift to stay with the newborn while she sleeps :))

  4. Thats a beautiful picture, they are so cute. It looks as if Reese is tickling Hayden and he is laughing! Happy Fourth to you and yours!  (And its  ridiculous we can't make our own AMERICAN Flag clothes here in the USA. )

  6. Hey, I didn't know you had twins! Oh, O.K., maybe I did. Love that they took some initiative to show their national colors. They have been raised well. Blessings to you.

  7. Love the pic Rob.  I have had a pretty lazy 4th, although I did get to go out for a 30 mile ride.  I love holidays when there is not time schedule! :)  We had given some thought about seeing CARS 2 but haven't seen a review of it.  Hint hint!  Hope you have a good day.

  9. Any time a human rides a bike for 30 miles you can erase the words lazy from their day. I haven't heard good things about Cars 2. I think I'll wait till DVD. Sorry.

  13. Hayden is a monster. He last weighed in at 13 lbs but that's been a couple of weeks. Reese is still under 10 lbs but she is growing.

  14. Nice Pic, happy 235th!  Looks like a little early sibling rivalry, I think that's a left jab that fell just a little short.  Had a fun time with some fellow WEC'ers at the Yorktown Independence Day 8K, as far as I know there were no injuries or urgent bodily functions along the course, so I'd call that a success.

  18. We went to our in-laws house in Gloucester for a cookout/pool party. Decided not to do the Yorktown fireworks cuz we didn't want to get stuck in traffic and get home really late. Ended up in crazy traffic on 17 anyways cuz they cancelled the fireworks due to weather. But had an awesome day with amazing family and still got home before 9:00.

  20. The tag may say made in China, but these 2 were born in the USA.
