I see this a lot now of days. I've seen it at the mall, Wal-Mart, and even one of my students did it for Community Group. Cool or Uncool?

ReplyDeleteIt kind of signals someone too lazy to get dressed. Uncool I should say then. I can picture some 90 year grandma out in curlers and her muumuu. Yow! But, on the other hand, a pretty young woman out in something ... wait, don't go there.
ReplyDeleteUncool, but have done it :/ I think what you wear is an advertisement of who you are and that is not a good way to advertise. Now, like I said, I have done it, but I was pregnant at the time with 2 kids, I was exhausted and just had to get one thing - MILK. So I hated doing it, but sucked it up because I was just too stressed to worry about it. So although I think it uncool, I don't judge those that do :)
ReplyDeleteUncool for the most part. There are situations like when you're painting, or spirit week or pretty much anything related to high school spirit. But beyond that, put some real clothes on.

ReplyDeleteUncool. Except for during CG. We have had several PJ nights for the girls and Casey and I wear them too. It makes for a very cozy group! But I bring a pair of jeans, in case I have to stop for anything- even if it's just gas or milk. Community Group and Public are two different things.

ReplyDeleteDepends on the situation and time of day. If I go out to grab us donuts for breakfast, I'm gonna leave my pajamas on, but actually going into town or shopping, I'm definitely gonna be dressed. So I guess I would say, strategically cool?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely depends on the situation. In college many of my peers wore pajamas to class. I thought it was kinda crazy and looked slack. I dont see it as much these days. Guess I haven't been paying close enough attention.
