Picture Week: The Most Amazing Thing I've Ever Seen

Last week I went to Catalyst. It's an amazing conference (more on that later today). At the conference they brought out a guy who calls himself Professor Splash. This guy has been featured on Leno and Jimmy Kimmel. His whole shtick is that he jumps off high platforms into 12 inches of water. That's not a typo. 12 inches = 1 foot. That's great for a subway sandwich, but not so great when you are jumping into H20. At Catalyst he jumped from 39 feet in the air. It was unbelievable. Right before he jumped everyone in the stadium had the same thought..."this guy's going to DIE before our eyes!" A hush went over the crowd and then he jumped and belly flopped into the kiddie pool of water. Amazing. Just in case you don't believe me here's a video...

  5. DP, if the professor splash could learn me how to do it then it would be a little less money. If he couldn't then I'm not even thinking about it for any thing less than 20 mil. Too much could go wrong.

  7. I saw this guy or someone like him on the Discovery Channel on the show Time Warp. He managed to survive that one too.
