Vs.

Vs. - a challenge at robshep.com where you decide the outcome. On this weeks Vs.
Wal-Mart vs. Target.

If you had to pick one to shop at who would win?

  1. WalMart. No contest. It's way more practical. Target's nice, but they don't have much for groceries or sporting goods... I could shop only at WalMart and hardly change my life. I can't say that for Target.

  2. I have known several people who go weak in the knees when it comes to even thinking about shopping at Target. I have never really thought there was anything special here. Their theme seems to focus on lots of eclectic junk. Walmart has a good selection and low prices, but I absolutely despise shopping here. Too many people shopping there, long lines so you can never get in and get out, weird people milling about everywhere, and it's dirty. It's like their attitude is, well only poor people shop here, they have nowhere else to go, so we don't need to make any effort. The place infuriates me. Thumbs down on both places.

  3. I like Target alot. BUT, Walmart has more grocery items. There are certain things I like to buy from each store. But for leisure shopping, I like Target.

  4. I have to go with Target, simply because it makes me HAPPY to be in there... in contrast to Wal-Mart which usually succeeds at making me feel depressed.

  5. I only go in WalMart as a last resort. I would rather pay more in Target than to deal with the junk at WalMart.

  6. TARGET!! I HATE shopping at Walmart, but sometimes I have to go there, as there are just some things that need to be bought at Walmart. I have no idea what, but sometimes I feel like I have to go for a certain item. maybe once a month I go to Walmart.
For groceries Target is useless, but I shop at KROGER which is the BEST!
